of reading - words

Are you passionate about wolves and their robust profile? Do you love drawing and want to create an easy wolf drawing? Follow this article; it will explain the details of how to do it with ease.

Step 1: Draw a circle for the wolf's head

Start by forming a circle which will serve as a base to create a beautiful wolf head drawing from the front.

Step 2: Prepare the areas needed to draw the eyes

Create the upper part of the face by drawing a curved line. Divide this area into two parts using a vertical curve.

Step 3: Place the irises of the eyes

Define the irises using two small circles in the middle of the area we prepared to draw the part above the muzzle.

Step 4: Prepare the muzzle area

Now, define the muzzle. To draw it properly, place a circle relatively centered in the large circle representing the wolf's head.

Step 5: Prepare the nose

Draw the shape of the nose using a rectangle with rounded ends.

Step 6: Draw the outlines of the ears

Now move towards the ears and draw two (relatively large) upside-down V-shaped curves on the left and right sides of the wolf head circle.

Step 7: Sketch Summary

There you have it! By following these steps, you'll have the basic skeleton for drawing a wolf's head. This sketch includes the main areas that make up the face, which we've illustrated with simple, flexible shapes.

Step 8: Draw the outline of the eyes

Now let's return to the upper part of the sketch to draw the outline of the eyes . To do this, make your lines starting from the outer part (fur side) towards the inner part of the eye, while respecting the inclinations of the eyelids.

Step 9: Place the pupils and eyebrows

Now it's time to draw the wolf's gaze. So, position yourself at the top center of each eye and draw the pupils with two small round shapes with a dark background. Don't forget to indicate the highlights by placing two infinitely small circles, with empty backgrounds, on the sides of each pupil.

For the eyebrows, lightly draw two thin curves with jagged points to represent the wolf's fur.

Step 10: Draw the nose

Let's return to the details of the nose. Start by drawing the upper line of the nostrils using a wavy line inside.

Draw two small semicircles to represent the nostrils and indicate the borders with two curved lines to the left and right ends of the nostrils.

To make a more realistic sketch, you can add a small, slightly slanted line below the nostrils and in the center of the nose. This represents the line that exists in the middle of the wolf's nose.

Step 11: Draw the mouth

For the mouth, draw a long line with jagged points (to match the fur ) down the nose. The line should be slightly curved at the ends. For the right side, orient the curve towards the edge of the muzzle circle. For the left side, direct the curve upwards, near the area designated for the nostrils.

Step 12: Draw the chin

You can represent the chin with a curve below the mouth. You can add lines around the edges of the snout circle to make it look more complete. Use jagged point strokes for these drawings.

Step 13: Complete the drawing of the right ear

This phase involves completing the drawing of the ears with the fur. To do this, draw lines inside each ear made up of a series of short strokes.

Step 14: Complete the drawing of the left ear

Do the same as in the previous step.

Step 15: Highlight the shape of the head

Draw a series of small lines along the edges of the wolf's ears and head circle. Curve the lines around the edges of the circle to create a more realistic effect.

Step 16: Add volume to the face

Add strokes, as you did previously, on different areas of the face to give it more volume.

Step 17: Clean up the sketch

So, we're almost done. Now you can clean up your wolf drawing of the shapes and circles we used as guidelines earlier.

Step 18: Finishing

The final finishing step is to cover the design with fur, using short strokes, working from the center outward. Leave a white area above the eyes to illustrate the white fur in that area.
